Jeep’s Exploding Gas Tanks Have Killed Dozens, Leading to Intense Scrutiny

Last year, Chrysler recalled 1.5 million vehicles in an attempt to fix a gas tank issue. What was that issue? Well, apparently, the gas tanks in many Jeep vehicles were highly susceptible to EXPLODING and leading to some dangerous consequences for drivers.

In fact, these circumstances were so dangerous that the fatality numbers are actually on par with GM’s deadly ignition switch recall fiasco. Certain Jeep owners, however, are saying that the numbers are even higher, only Chrysler is refusing to take responsibility.
