Florida has long been the home of the weird and the twisted, the freaks and the psychos. Now, we have another story to throw on top of that rancid Florida garbage pile.
The story…
On Saturday, in Orlando, a woman was arrested after stopping traffic by touching herself in the middle of a highway and then climbing on top of the hood of a couples’ car.
According to the official arrest report, Amie Carter, 31, proceeded to stomp on the vehicle’s hood (causing about $1,500 in damage) and throw a cellphone at the car stopped behind the vehicle she was standing on.
When police arrived on the messy scene, officers asked Carter to get out of the street but were met with hostility. They then attempted to apprehend her, and things soon spiraled even further out of control as she resisted “by pulling and kicking her legs in the air.”
After a heavy handed takedown, officers placed Carter in handcuffs and covered her in a blanket. Carter was then taken into custody and delivered to Orange County jail; she was charged with criminal mischief and exposure of sexual organs.
In the police report, officers wrote that “Carter appeared to be under the influence [of] a heavy unknown substance. She appeared in an altered mental state, displaying extremely irrational and volatile behavior.”
In other words, she’s just a typical Floridian that got a little too much sun.
