In 1985, Ford produced a Ranger MVP model in honor of the Kansas-City Royals winning the World Series. Ford is now doing it again for the Royals 2015 World Series win with the 2016 Ford F-150 MVP. This special-edition release comes in either Oxford White or Blue Flame color options with unique MPV Edition badging, polished-steel rocker panels, and a spray-in bedliner. It’s also available in both 4×2 and 4×4 and either the 3.5 EcoBoost or 5.0 V-8 engines.
Only 300 of these MPVs will be made, and you can only get them through Kansas City-area dealerships. A standard F-150 XLT SuperCrew with a chrome package and spray-in bedliner starts at about $40,000, so expect the MVP edition to be priced above that.
