This gorgeous girl just broke my heart! She’s a 7-speed automatic. No, no, no – as I shake my head in disbelief. I guess looks aren’t the first thing that grabs my attention from McLaren anymore {insert sad face here}. Then again, the automatic allows for precise shift timing…I’ve reconsidered.
The 2016 McLaren 650S Coupe and Spider now come with additions valued at $22,500, for no additional cost. Those additions are: carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber side skirts and intakes, carbon fiber rear bumper, carbon fiber mirror casings, and a carbon fiber interior trim package.
The McLaren 650S Coupe starts at $273,600 and the 650S Spider starts at $288,600 – including the $4,100 destination fee on either model. McLaren has also added new optional equipment, such as the $9,950 McLaren Enhanced Technology Package – front vehicle lifter, electric adjustable seats and steering column, Meridian surround sound, parking sensors, backup camera, and car cover. All those extras used to cost an extra $16,440, but now are a package deal, saving the buyer over $6,000.
What’s more is other available extras like 10 more color options, a $2,830 McLaren Track Telemetry App, $1,300 Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, a $930 soft-close door option, and larger racing seats priced the same as the standard racing seats.
Anyone love me enough to send me this birthday gift? Ha ha ha, I kid.
So what do you think about the McLaren 650S?
