About two and a half years ago, Recaro– most notably known for their OEM bucket seats– posted this INSANE video entitled, “Devil’s Playground.” In the video, we meet up with driver Jeremy Foley and co-pilot Yuri Kouznetsov as they are flying through the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in their Mitsubishi Evo.
Of course, it’s not like that alone is uncommon; drivers often speed through this climb at top-notch speeds. In fact, having debuted in 1916, the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest motor sports race in America!
But what was uncommon is the fact that the two riders ultimately swerve off of one of the cliffs leading to one of the most brutal crashes that has ever been caught on camera. It was so brutal, in fact, that everybody involved decided they need to make this mini-documentary about the incident. Check it out!!
