Earlier this week, Hyundai executives confirmed to reporters that they are considering producing pick-up trucks in the near future. Why? Well, it appears that executives are ecstatic after receiving a “good response” at the Detroit Auto Show in January for their HCD-15 Santa Cruz pickup concept.
However, according to reports, the company will not attempt to bring this truck to the US market. No reason has been given, but we can think of a couple… the F-150, Chevy Colorado, etc.
Of course, all of this might just be fool’s gold. Hyundai has been talking non-sense about adding a pickup for years, but nothing has come yet.
Anyway, what do you think about the Santa Cruz concept? Should it be brought to market, and if it was, would you consider buying it?
