Over the weekend, a couple of amateur videos were shot of a Toyota Camry getting slammed by a passing freight train in Buechel, Kentucky. The incident took place on March 14th, and according to reports, two people on the passenger side of the car were killed instantly. In addition to that, the driver and another passenger were critically injured as the Camry was pushed for a mile down the track.
According to a report from Fox News, the two that were injured are now being treated at the University of Louisville Hospital.
Hours later, it was actually discovered that all four passengers were Jefferson County Public School students. The deceased have been identified as Suk Man Raj, 19, and Chita Chuwan, 16.
“We pray for our brothers who we lost in that tragic train accident,” said Tara Khadka, a friend of both men, in an interview with WAVE. “We hope their souls will rest in peace.”
In a separate interview, eyewitness Logan Bennet said, “It was the most devastating thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
