Last night, during the very looong and somewhat dull Oscar show, Cadillac managed to infuse some life into the show by debuting their upcoming CT6 flagship sedan in a brand-new 60 second commercial.
In the ad, which has been titled “No Regrets,” audiences were shown shots of New York City as examples of people that have dared to push the boundaries of society scroll across the screen. Initially, there is mystery surrounding what the ad is about, but then suddenly, we are given the text about Cadillac.
As the car makes its way down the street, the following is infused onto the screen…”How dare a 112-year-old carmaker reinvent itself,” followed by “only those who dare drive the world forward.”
According to reports, the brand-new Cadillac CT6 will officially be unveiled on March 31st at the 2015 New York International Auto Show and will go on sale during the fourth-quarter of this year.
Caddilac representatives have confirmed that the new ride will use advanced mixed-material (aluminum and steel) manufacturing techniques and feature a plug-in electric option for customers that will offer an “industry-leading fuel economy upwards of 70 mpg equivalent.” It will also feature tons of new technology.
Sounds pretty sweet, right?
