Last month, the internet blew up (no I’m not talking about Kim Kardashian’s ass) when California based company Arx Parx released a video profiling their brand new hoverboard.
I’ll be the first one to say that the video made me a believer, but at the same time, I was a little disappointed. Everybody that tested the board out seemed to have trouble maneuvering the bulky piece of equipment, leaving the halfpipe almost completely unused.
But now, Arx Parx has brought in a ringer to show what their board can really do. In the just-released video, we get to see the one and only TONY HAWK try out the board. And after seeing him work his magic, I can’t lie; I can actually see a future for this board. Hawk doesn’t exactly tear up pipe, but he does show us that there is room for growth. And that maybe– with a little practice– somebody could one day master this board and put on a great show.
