Bodyless 2003 Viper SRT10 Convertible On Sale for $15,000

Currently on Craigslist, there is a 2003 Dodge Viper SRT10 convertible with 55,769 miles on it on sale for just $14,900. Sounds like a deal, right?

Well, there’s a catch; there’s always a catch. This Dodge Viper– which Car and Driver tested at 190 mph back in the day– has no body!?!?! That’s right, this Viper has no body panels, front airbags, lights, carpeting, and a smorgasbord of other missing parts due to a recent front-end collision.

But still that shouldn’t dissuade any particularly ambitious lad from taking on an all-time great reclamation project. Restoring this bad boy could bring in tens of thousands of dollars. I mean, it still does have a pushrod 20-valve V-10 engine in it!
