GM Duramax Truck Can’t Handle the Horsepower- Breaks Tie Rod

Preparing to fire off the asphalt at Edgewater drag strip in Cincinnati, Ohio, this Duramax diesel truck was preparing to show off its 1000 horsepower capability. Only, things didn’t exactly go to plan when the truck’s tie rod busted apart, leaving a crippled truck to try and pick up the pieces.

Muscle Car Zone says of the incident, “If you ask me, to have something like this happen whilst you are preparing to launch off the drag strip is actually embarrassing. Where does all that Duramax power go from here? Come on Chevy, this really is lame.”
