On Sunday in the Netherlands, a driver lost control of his monster truck and ripped through a crowd of people, killing 3 people and injuring 15 more.
The incident occurred after the truck had just completed a routine trick when it accidentally swerved left and took out a guard rail, as well as the dozens of spectators watching the event.
“A lovely, festive afternoon ended in drama,” said Deputy Mayor Peter van Vlaandered, “This is a disaster for Haaksbergen.”
A representative from the event organizing crew told the local news crews that he believes the problem could have stemmed from either the gas pedal sticking or the brakes failing. The driver is currently being questioned by police. Check out the wild video below.
