What happens when some of the world’s best and most vicious vehicles face off? Well, have a look for yourself. In this video, we watch as some of today’s super titans square off. The competitors include:
The Bugatti Veyron… This 2011 masterpiece is a mid-engined supercar that features an 8.0 liter turbo-quad W16. This helps it to fire out an amazing 1001 horsepower and a top speed around 250. Adding to the credentials, this car was also named Car of the Decade by Top Gear from 2000-2009. Car and Driver says, “The sad truth is that the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is simply too fast for this world.”
The Lamborhini Aventador… Like the Bugatti, this instant classic also debuted in 2011 and features a mid-engined design. It features a 6.5 liter, 691 horsepower V-12 engine that helps it to hit an out-of-this-world 3.0 second 0-60 time. Car and Driver says of the car, “The Aventador is pretty much what the old car was: enormous, loud, stupidly impractical, and obscenely flamboyant. It’s also better at being so.”
The Lexus LFA– In production from 2010-2012, the Lexus LFA is priced at about $375,000. It features a 4.8 L V DOHC engine that cranks out 552 horsepower. IN all honesty, I’m not so sure if this vehicle should be in the same league as the ones from above.
The McLaren MP4-12C– The McLaren MP4- 12C was the first car built by McLaren in over a decade (the last coming in 1998). Featuring Formula 1 technology and a 3.8 liter V8, twin turbo engine, the McLaren rips out an astonishing 592 horsepower. In other words, it is a serious contender.
