Earlier this week at the Street Car Super Nationals “Anarchy at the Arch,” Frankie Madman Taylor smashed a drag racung quickest door slammer record by hitting 260.91 miles per hour on a 1/8 mile strip. The crowd roared in excitement and reveled in history.
The record breaking time came just minutes after the “Madman” wowed the crowd with an impressive 5.59 second time, clocking in just a few miles per hour short of his 260 mph speed.
According to Bangshift.com, “The data from Racepak looks awesome, but clearly shows that this car has more in it. If conditions are right be prepared to see a low 5.5 second pass, or perhaps a 5.48 or 5.49 second run here this weekend!”
