The last few months have been filled with tension and bloodshed in Ukraine. For us Americans- who have not fought a war at home in well over a century- it’s sometimes hard to picture exactly how this type of conflict would impact our day to day lives.
Well, earlier this week, Ukranian resident Vova Prach gave us some insight by releasing a video entitled, “my second birthday,” the a Russian social media site. In the video, we see Vova driving down a winding road as a rocket slams down just in front of his car. The explosion then swallows up the man, his car, and his dashboard camera.
Somehow, the man emerged alive from the horrific incident and has since been congratulated by comments for escaping. Unfortunately, though, the conflict in the Ukraine is still ongoing with no end in sight.
