On average, Americans spend about 38 hours per year in traffic. In big cities, that number actually skyrockets to over 50 hours per year, with Washington DC being up over 65! Even worse than that, though, is the fact that “the cost of all this wasted time and fuel comes out to $121 billion annually.” That’s a lot of cheese.
There is no doubt that being in traffic is one of the worst places to spend your time, especially in the early mornings and evenings when you’d rather be at home.
